The Interceptor arrives at Sarah's start position and immediately commences an attack. He instructs Mikie to take him low and if she turns, to turn with her. Mikie proceeds to hover alongside Sarah as she crosses the bridge over the river. (5) The Interceptor fires and delights in telling Annabel that he just zapped the contestant and that she's fallen off the bridge! (6) Sarah walks backwards across the bridge in an attempt to protect her pack. She reaches the other side of the bridge and finds safety in the trees there. She is then able to communicate with Annabel and describes her location.

Mike is running across the fields towards the quarry and comments that all he can hear in his headphones is helicopters and Sarah screaming in the background.

Mikie and the Interceptor continue to circle Sarah's position and wait for her to reappear from the trees.
