Sue arrives at the river and discovers canoeists who agree to help her find the key. They inform Sue that her key is dangling from the bridge at Hay-on-Wye.

Sue climbs into a four man canoe and helps to paddle down the river towards the bridge.

Mikie skims the surface of the river and as they round a corner, they at last find Sue in the canoe. [ end of part two ]

The Interceptor attacks from the air and Sue attempts to keep her back away from him. (14)
