Tucked away in the Cornish countryside on the A38 between Plymouth and Liskeard, you will find Castle Air's impressive facility. Now in it's third incarnation, you will find the hangars picture below just behind sister company Castle Motors.

The company was conceived in 1979 and began operations in 1980 from a "glorified hut" in a field with a single Long Ranger helicopter. It wasn't long

though before the company received it's first big break supplying two Jet Ranger helicopters for the Channel 4 TV series "Treasure Hunt". Seven series were produced in total and in that time Castle Air became one of the country's leading aerial film units, able to provide the latest in aerial filming technology as well as ground support.
