Horses made several appearances in the series and were on occasion
used as transport by both the contestants and the Interceptor.

Whilst waiting to ambush Sarah as she collected her key in Cornwall,
a horse took particular interest in the Interceptor's zapper! After a
brief encounter with the Interceptor, Sarah proceeded to mount a
Shire horse and unplatted the horse's mane to retrieve her key.

Horses were also seen during the introductory sequences of the
Borders episode at the Kelso racecourse - one of the lairs.

Perhaps most notably, Candy collected her key by "lancing the rings"
whilst on horseback and was later pursued by the Interceptor on
horseback as she headed off in a vintage Rolls Royce.

The sight of the Interceptor on horseback was so dramatic that
this featured in several publicity shots and the opening titles.
