"IT'S SUCH FUN!"
Says
Annabel Croft of Interceptor - more helicopter high jinks for the former tennis star who's
now a soaraway TV success. By Fiona Gibson
"IT'S SUCH FUN!" pipes a
long limbed, wavy haired character fresh from the pages of Bunty. "There are
two contestants who are blindfolded and dropped off by helicopter seven miles apart. They
have to find keys to their backpacks.
I'm in a very pretty location, like under a bridge
with ducks, and, basically, I have to guide them to the keys and then to each other.

But," Annabel Croft beams, "the Interceptor [he of
the chiselled jaw and leather attire] is flying around in this black helicopter and zaps
the packs!
The cameramen are great, always laughing and coming up to give you a big hug
and say you're doing well. It's such fun to make," she says emphatically.
"Like...like a mini Raiders Of The Lost Ark!!".
Interceptor comes from the same ITV production stable as
Treasure Hunt, and the girl with the map ("I just kind of offer encouragement"), not quite a mini Harrison
Ford, is the same awfully nice girl who gave up tennis.
