The Interceptor lies down on his stomach, hidden behind a fence. As Sarah runs past, he reaches up and zaps at her through the fence. (33) He jumps up and over the fence and goes in for the kill. Sarah hears him, turns around and lets out a scream as she witnesses the Interceptor bearing down on her. [ end of part two ]

The Interceptor circles Sarah, screeching and zapping. Sarah backs up to a wall to protect her pack as he moves right in for the kill - screeching again with his face only inches away from Sarah's. (34) The Interceptor knows that Sarah will not move while he is this close, so pretends to leave.

Sarah is visibly shocked and asks a member of the public to stand behind her in order to retrieve her key. She spots the key sign in the courtyard, but then spies the Interceptor hiding behind a cart and moves away again.
