Annabel introduces this Christmas edition of Interceptor from the Lighthouse at Trevose Head. She informs Clive and Sarah of their objectives and asks them to choose a backpack each. (1)

The Interceptor's lair is Doyden Castle at Port Quin. He is seen perched high on the battlements of his lair, looking out to sea through his mini telescope. (2)

Clive and Sarah are led to the waiting Jetranger helicopter where they are blindfolded.

Mikie flies past the Interceptor who is still standing on the battlements, arms raised and screeching like a fish eagle.

The contestants are flown to their start locations and Annabel relocates to her base at Port Isaac.
