Marcel arrives in Broadway and has to find alternative transport to take him further. He asks for directions to Chipping Campden where his key is. He then attempts to wangle a free ice-cream from a street stall. (23) Annabel is horrified. "You haven't got time to eat ice-cream - HURRY UP!!!" Marcel finds an open back truck which will take him on to Chipping Campden.

Nikky arrives at the entrance to the college and jumps off the fire engine. She waves to a red 2CV leaving the college and asks Annabel where she has to go. Annabel tells her to make for Chipping Campden. Nikky asks if she can have a lift to Chipping Campden and the driver agrees. (24) 

The Interceptor spots the abandoned fire engine at the college entrance and notices that Nikky is no longer on it, just as the red CV heads out of the entrance. [ end of part two ]
