The Interceptor flies over a mountain at the side of the lake and spots the raft on the helicopter's monitors. Mikie swoops down to investigate and comments to his boss that its looking quite promising! Mikie circles the raft, but Sue manages to keep turning and keep her back away from the Interceptor's zaps. The Interceptor gives up and heads back to check on Max. (11)

Annabel advises Max to leave the train at Irton Road Station. The conductor however suggests that Max gets off at the station after, which is closer to Eskdale Green.

Sue reaches her key and wades back to the shore before heading to the hall where she finds someone willing to give her a ride to Eskdale Green. (12)

Mikie finds Max's train and the Interceptor zaps from the air.
