The train continues under the bridge and Max does his best to keep his pack protected. As soon as Max disappears under the bridge, the Interceptor jumps down from the wall and sprints down to the track and on to the back of the train. (15) He begins to move forwards towards Max and a passenger asks him if he is Batman or Robin!

Max jumps off the train and leaves the Interceptor stranded on the other side.

Sue continues her journey to Eskdale on board the truck. (16)

The Interceptor leaves the train and asks Mikie for directons back to his lair.

Max continues on foot towards Annabel at the outward bound centre.
