Roger is a little way behind the Interceptor's boat and sees him climb on top of the cabin.

The Interceptor complains to Mikie that this driver is so slow and next time Mikie is driving the boat. He becomes impatient with the boats captain and jumps down from his lookout position to take over the controls. He slams open the throttle and speeds towards Claire. The river police then pull out from the bank and chases after him for breaking the river speed limit.
