This twin engined Italian helicopter was built in 1980 and registered as G-OAMH. She was later re-registered as G-ROPE and G-BRYL before being registered as G-MEAN in April 1989. Pictures available of this aircraft when registered as G-BRYL indicate that she was once all white with two yellow stripes but was presumably resprayed to the familiar colour scheme
specifically for the filming of Interceptor.

G-MEAN has appeared in several
other television programmes
since Interceptor such as "You Bet!".
If you have access to a clip of the challenge
featuring Michael Malric-Smith, look closely
and you will notice that the Interceptor
running man logo was still present
even though the challenge was shown
in 1990.
