The second outing (and longest) for the Maserati was in
Hay-On-Wye when the Interceptor returned to his lair late in
the episode at the insistance of Mikie to "pick up some
ground transport".

The Interceptor had to drive quite a way across fields and
tracks, directed by Mikie in G-MEAN. This was a very
dramatic sequence with excellent shots from both vehicles
as they tracked each other.

The Interceptor eventually picked up the main road and
headed into Hay-On-Wye town centre. Once there, he
was directed to turn right onto the bridge where the
contestants had been sighted. The Interceptor spotted
the male contestant, screeched to a halt and stepped out
to continue the pursuit on foot.
